The Somali Girls in Sydney have successfully hosted a Somali Girls Tea party  on the 7th March at the Somali Community Center at Auburn. With over 40 girls in attendance, the event was first of its kind and was a great success . They were also informed of the work of ASCA and are interested in participating and getting involved in future events by ASCA and representing the Somali youth.

The forums encouraged young Somalis build resilience and enhance their public speaking skills. As a result the girls are committed organising and volunteering for ASCA and helping with the meetings.
